Join us for a fun spring afternoon at Gardner Camp on March 21st from 2:00–4:00 PM for a Shed Hunting adventure! Youth will explore the grounds of Gardner Camp in search of naturally shed deer antlers while enjoying time outdoors with friends. Along the way, participants will learn about the antler shedding process, why deer shed each year, and helpful strategies for finding sheds, especially how wind, terrain, and habitat features can influence where antlers end up. This relaxed, educational outing is a great way to welcome spring and build outdoor observation skills while having fun in the field. Open to ages 10-17 with any level of experience.
