WELCOME to the first week-long session of our G.O. Get Outside! Virtual Series - Water Wonders: Frog and Turtle Takeover. Below you will find four adventures that include a video lesson and fun activities. Designed as a self-directed activity, participants or groups can choose an adventure for every day of the week. Live webinars will be scheduled where you can join Gardner Camp naturalists live at GC to see wildlife, hear about seasonal events happening at camp and ask any questions you may have. - Find-A-Frog Photo Contest - Submit your pictures of frogs to our Facebook (@gardnercamp), Instagram (@gardner.camp) or email (jen@gardnercamp.org) accounts and tag #gcfrogs. If handling frogs, please do so with care and return them where found. We will pick a random winner for a Gardner Camp prize package!

• Slimy Scavenger Hunt - Frogs, toads and turtles all have different slimy, bumpy textures. Use this Texture Map to find different textures in nature. Make a drawing or use words to describe your texture (if you find something slimy) or create a rubbing with a crayon (if you find something rough like tree bark). • Mini-Habitat Creation - Use natural materials you find outside to create a mini-habitat for your favorite frog or toad - real or imaginary! Make sure your habitat contains all things that a frog needs - food, water, shelter and space. Here are examples below:
