Youth Trapping Camp

Register NOW! This is our fastest-filling camp! Students will help set and check a trap line, learn about trapping equipment and game identification, observe proper pelt preparation and discuss trapper ethics.
This 2-day camp satisfies the IDNR Trapper Safety Education requirement to obtain an Illinois Trapper License. In addition to their Trapper Safety card, youth will have an opportunity to win their own trapping gear.
Recommended for boys & girls ages 10+. Saturday: 8am to 4pm & Sunday: 8am to Noon. Lunch will be provided on Saturday. There is no cost for this event. Registration closes February 25th. Questions? Contact info@gardnercamp.org or call 217/432-1999.
