Gardner Camp is bringing hands-on learning about Illinois Raptors to you during winter break!  The Illinois Raptor Center will be at GC to present a live raptor program where you will experience an up-close view of birds of prey.  After learning about signs and tracks that animals leave behind, participants will test their tracking and navigational skills on a tracking adventure. Track snacks will be provided! Within this program, there is also a giveback opportunity to help the Illinois Raptor Center. Participants are to bring an item from the wish list — lotion-free tissues, paper towels, extra-large exam gloves, cotton balls, unsalted nuts, unsalted sunflower seed, reams of office paper, large garbage bags, or 1-gallon size baggies. This event is part of our Wildlife Encounters series hosted in partnership with the Illinois Conservation Foundation.
