IDNR Youth Hunter Safety Course

This is a required course in order to be issued an IL Hunting License. This Spring Course will be held: April 21st (5:30pm-8:30pm) and April 22nd (9am-4pm) Both dates are required for completion certificate.Taught by IDNR Hunter Safety Education Instructors, the course will cover the basics of:
• hunter responsibility and ethics
• treestand safety
• firearms and ammunition
• field safety
• first aid
• bowhunting
• muzzleloading
• wildlife conservation and identification
• state regulations

All ages welcome but youth must be able to pass written exam. Registration is required. No cost. Lunch and refreshments are provided by Gardner Camp. Class is limited to 25 attendees. Registration Required: https://form.jotform.com/201517089639159 Registration will close once limit is met.
