Gardner Camp Hunt Club Kickoff

Our kickoff event will be held on Sunday, February 28th from 1p-4p. Following a short introduction about Gardner Camp, the opening program will cover Intro to Hunting, Hunting Etiquette and Ethics along with archery or air rifle shooting on our range (weather permitting.)
In partnership with Boy Scouts of America, the 2021 season of Gardner Camp Hunt Club will consist of eight monthly sessions (February- September 2021) focused on hunting skills, strategies, traditions and a service project. Sessions may include camo & concealment, calling & decoying, wildlife management, conservation careers, firearm safety, wingshooting skills, game retrieval and wild game cooking. Activities may include archery, blind tours, game feast, air gun & trap shoots, blind preparation, placing decoys, duck calling & dog retrieving. The final session will conclude with a group hunt at Gardner Camp during the Fall 2021 season.
Open to boys & girls ages 11+ (Must be 12 at time of hunt in Fall 2021). Cost: $38.50 for BSA Membership fee. Held at Gardner Camp, Hull, IL.
