Have you wanted to start shooting archery but haven’t found a place to shoot regularly? Or do you have a bow that you’d like to shoot more often? Have you considered practicing to shoot at archery competitions? Through the 4-H Archery SPIN Club, youth, ages 8+, will set goals, have fun with friends who enjoy archery, and improve their personal shooting skills. Through the year, Club members will meet monthly – gaining plenty of shooting time, competing in fun challenges, and learning from subject matter experts about archery topics – how to buy a bow set-up, preparing for competition shooting, equipment tips, and more. The activities of the program and support of caring adult leaders provide young people with opportunities to develop life skills, self-worth and conservation ethics. Target shooting (both FITA and 3-D) will be the main focus. All skill levels are welcome. Join us for a interest meeting to kick-off this new Club for Adams and Pike County youth.
